Aer Lingus has come up with an absolute smash hit for those who like to combine a trip to the US or Canada with a visit to Ireland.

Right on the aerlingus.com website, you can currently book return flights from Dublin for many dates from September to the first half of December , with prices starting from 106 eur.

Edit: for some destinations (e.g. Orlando), we’re mainly seeing dates around the turn of November/December.

However, it’s worth noting that, particularly when travelling to the US, you’ll usually need to spend a night in Dublin. Also bear in mind that return flights to Dublin from Europe are not usually the cheapest; from Prague, for example, they typically range between 124 eur and 207 eur, particularly if you have a fixed date for your connecting transatlantic flight.

Even so, when you add it all up, a return ticket to America will cost you around 228 eur to 332 eur, which is still a brilliant deal with the added bonus of visiting Ireland.
