Bus to the centre of Zadar

Direct buses run only to the centre of Zadar, stopping at 3 locations:

  • Centre (final stop) - Liburnska obala 3
  • Main Bus Station
  • Main ferry port (Gaženička cesta 22a)

The journey to the centre of Zadar takes approximately 25 minutes.

The bus timetable is arranged according to the flight schedule to follow all departures and arrivals. In the summer season, buses run every 30 minutes.

A complete and updated timetable can be found on the airport website.

Ticket costs 4,65 eur and is payable in cash only to the driver. Unfortunately, it is common practice for the driver to claim he has no change, so often the fare actually works out to 5 eur.

Car rental

There are many local and multinational car rental companies right in the terminal or in the booths outside the terminal, which you can use if you want to get around the Croatian coast properly.

Weekly rental prices in the peak summer season start at 210 eur. Off-season prices also drop at 75 eur.

Taxi prices are high in Croatia and you'll usually pay between 25 eur and 30 eur for a trip to the city centre.

Uber or Bolt taxi apps, both of which operate in Zadar, can be cheaper. Prices can be around 20 eur.
