Arriva bus

Frequent connections to the centre are made by Arriva's special bus line 268. Detailed timetables can be found on the website torino.arriva.it. Click on the "Nord" tab and click on the clock icon for line 000268.

In the centre of Turin, it stops at the two most important stations: Porta Nuova (Piazza Carlo Felice) and Porta Susa (corso Bolzano).

Tickets can be bought from the ticket machine in the arrivals hall for 7,50 eur, return tickets for 14 eur. In the city centre you can buy tickets from newsagents and other outlets, see the map of sellers.

You can also buy a ticket from the driver without a surcharge if you pay with a contactless card. For cash, the ticket costs the driver 8,50 eur.

  • Travel time - Porta Susa (42 minutes), Porta Nuova (50 minutes)
  • Price - 7,50 eur / 14 eur return
  • Frequency - 15 minutes (early morning and weekends 30 minutes)

Suburban buses

The cheapest way to get to Caselle Airport is by GTT's suburban bus lines.

They are not as frequent as Arriva's special airport line 268, but the fares are cheaper.

  • 3,70 eur - Transfer ticket for 100 minutes, valid for all GTT buses and trams and Turin metro

To get to the airport, use the following lines. Timetables can be found on the website: gtt.to.it/extraurbano.

  • 3165 - direction Torino Porta Susa, Torino Dora
    • Travel time: 35 minutes
    • Frequency: 7-9 times a day
  • 3382 - runs to the eastern suburbs of Turin and is not usable for travel to the centre
  • 3971 - direction Torino Corso Bolzano, Torino Brin
    • Travel time: 55-60 minutes
    • Frequency: 30-60 minutes

Train to Turin

There is also an A line train of the SFM suburban railway to the airport, but due to a long-term closure it is unusable for travelling to the centre.

The station, called "Caselle Aeroporto", can be found behind the car park and is clearly signposted. Normally, trains terminate at Torino Dora station on the northern edge of the centre, where you can change to trams and buses to the centre.

However, nowadays, thanks to a long-term closure with an unclear ending, they already end at Venaria station on the northern edge of Turin, very far from the centre.

The train journey is therefore currently unusable for the needs of airport visitors.

For information on fares and timetables, visit the official website: sfmtorino.it.

Car rental

Is Turin Airport just a gateway to the Alps? Then it's ideal to rent a car right in the terminal.

There are many local and international car rental companies operating here, with normal prices around 50 eur per day.

Due to the distance of the airport from the centre, expect taxi prices to be around 40 eur.
