Public transport - buses

There is a bus stop right outside the terminal where several public transport lines stop.

  • E1 - a special airport bus connecting to all arrivals and departures. The bus departs 25 minutes after the arrival of the aircraft and always arrives at the airport from the centre 80 minutes before departure.
    • A special fare applies 5 eur
    • Travel time approx. 30 minutes
    • Goes to the Kesklinn stop right in the city centre
    • A tip for a hotel near Kesklinn station with a view of the river - Dorpat Hotel ***
  • 216, 224, 228, 332, 342, 343, 357 - regular suburban lines also stop at the airport and some services may connect to daytime arrivals and departures.
    • Normal fares apply 1,50 eur
    • Travel time approx. 35 to 55 minutes
    • They go to the main bus station

Taxi / Bolt

There are always plenty of official taxis waiting outside the terminal for each scheduled arrival, which run according to the meter.

In addition, there is an information board inside the public area of the terminal with phone numbers for taxis if by chance no cars are available outside the airport.

The Bolt mobile app also operates in Tartu, but car availability, especially at night, can be worse and waiting times can be more than 30 minutes.

The normal price for a taxi or Bolt to central Tartu is between 8 eur and 10 eur.
