Skopje Airport uses a single terminal shared by all flights. The building is very small but well laid out. After passing through security, expect a shortage of seating when several flights are departing at the same time.

It is easy to find your way around, and distances within the terminal are very short.

Passport control on arrival is efficient, and waiting times are usually between 10 and 20 minutes.

Connecting flights

Skopje is not a typical transit airport. Most connections are not guaranteed, meaning travellers must arrange their own connections using two separate tickets.

Even if you do not have any checked-in luggage, you must always go through passport control upon arrival, exit the terminal, and then go through passport and security checks again to return to the transit area.

The whole procedure usually takes between 20 and 40 minutes.
