Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport in a nutshell

São Paulo

Guarulhos is the largest airport in Brazil and the second largest in the whole of South America. It is situated 25 km north-east of the centre of São Paulo and serves as Brazil’s main international airport.

LATAM and Gol Airlines have their main hubs here. International traffic slightly predominates at Guarulhos, with direct connections to most major cities around the world.

Many domestic routes also operate from Guarulhos; however, a significantly busier hub for domestic travel is the airport Congonhas CGH closer to the city centre.

The São Paulo metropolitan area is also served by the more distant Viracopos Airport, where Azul has its main hub.
