Guarulhos is the largest airport in Brazil and the second largest in South America. It is located 25 km northeast of downtown Sao Paulo and serves as Brazil's main international airport.

LATAM, Gol Airlines and other airlines have their main base here. Guarulhos is slightly dominated by international traffic with direct connections to most major cities around the world.

Guarulhos is also served by many domestic routes, however, the airport is a much busier hub for domestic traffic Congonhas CGH closer to the centre.

The Sao Paulo conurbation is also served by the distant Viracopos Airport, where Azul airline has its main hub.
