The easiest way to get around Santiago is to rent a car directly from the airport terminal, where some of the major multinationals operate.

Although there is a conventional public bus system in the city, it does not run to the new airport. So the only chance is the official taxis, which run for a fixed price of 800 escudos (approx. 7 eur).
