Phnom Penh International Airport in a nutshell

Phnom Penh

From 9 September 2025, all traffic will be transferred to the new Techo KTI airport located 25 km south of the capital Phnom Penh.

The airport in the Cambodian capital is the second largest in the country (after Siem Reap) and serves as an important gateway to the country. It is located about 13 km west of the city centre and is the base for Cambodia Angkor Air.

The terminal is small and often congested, so expect larger crowds in a small space. The airport is open on a scheduled basis and overnight stays are not possible.
