The airport, officially named "Franz-Josef-Strauss Flughafen", is the second largest in Germany and one of the largest in Europe. It is located near the city of Freising, about 35 km from the centre of Munich.
If you are flying to or via Munich, by far the most flights are offered by Lufthansa, which has the airport here after Frankfurt FRA its second main base after the airport.
Condor (search for tickets at condor.de) or Eurowings (search for tickets at eurowings.com) also have a significant number of flights, especially to summer and exotic destinations.
However, Munich Airport is used by airlines from all over the world, with scheduled flights to every continent except Australia.

Before covid we used to go to the airport where there were travel agency stands and there we bought super cheap tours with same day departure. Did the travel companies come back? I looked for it but couldn't find anything.
That was like 20 years before covid, right?
I meant whether it still works after the covid, i.e. now.
I was in Munich in the summer and didn't notice. I remember the stalls too, but it was more like 15 - 20 years ago. It's all on the internet now. I don't even remember them before Covid anymore.
I guess it's not what it used to be around the year 2000.
On this site I see only a much smaller travel market:
