Marsa Alam Airport is located in the south-eastern part of Egypt on the Red Sea coast and almost exclusively serves holiday flights from Europe. In fact, there is no big city in the vicinity, only many hotel complexes.

The terminal is small, clean and uncluttered, and can be crowded at peak times.
