Airport Hotels at Gothenburg and Sleeping in the Terminal
If you have an early morning departure and don't want to spend your last night in Gothenburg, we recommend choosing airport accommodation.
There are two four-star hotels right next to the terminal:
Prices for a double room are around 117 eur. There are several other hotels around the airport with lower prices but without walking distance.

I arrive from Prague in the evening and transfer to Edinburgh on the morning of the 2nd day on a Ryanair ticket.
1. Please describe as accurately as possible the transfer within the airport from the stopover to the connecting flight to Edinburgh
2. where best to spend the night in the airport area, also taking into account whether it is where I will arrive or where I will be departing from after the stopover on my onward flight to Edinburgh

With Ryanair you have two one-way tickets, so the stop in Gothenburg is not treated as a stopover but as a destination from Prague, which means you walk out of arrivals and if you have checked baggage, you pick it up, check it in at the foot, go through security again and pass as a new flight. If you have an all night layover I would think about a hotel as there is nothing extra to do.
