Transportation from Brindisi Airport

Brindisi

The airport terminal is just 4 km from the centre of Brindisi and 70 km from the popular town of Alberobello.

Bus to the centre

Brindisi is served by the AP bus, which departs every 30 minutes from the terminal. For a list of stops and timetables, visit the STP Brindisi website at stpbrindisi.it.

You can buy your ticket for 1 eur at the RELAY newsagent in the arrivals hall (open 5:30-21:30). The only other option is to buy from the driver (cash only), where the ticket costs 1,50 eur.

  • Travel time to the main station: 11 minutes
  • Fares: 1 eur from the ticket office / 1,50 eur from the driver
  • Frequency: 30 minutes
  • Last connection from the airport - 23:45
  • First connection from the main station - 5:30

See below for an indicative map of the AP line. The bus stops at all stops.

Rent a car

Southern Puglia is perfect for road-tripping along the coast and through inland, pithy villages.

There are plenty of local and international rental companies operating at the airport, and competition keeps prices relatively low. In high season, you can pay for a week's rental from 250 eur.

Taxi

Uber, Bolt or any other similar apps do not operate in Brindisi, so you'll only need to use regular taxis.

The taxi rank is right in front of the arrivals hall and despite the very short distance, you will pay a relatively high amount to the centre around 15 eur. You can only pay in cash.

Bus direction Taranto and Lecce

From the airport, Pugliairbus buses in collaboration with Marozzi run on average 5-8 times a day to both Lecce and Taranto.

Timetables and online ticketing can be found at shop.marozzivt.it.

  • Lecce: ticket for 6,50 eur, journey time 40 minutes
  • Taranto: ticket for 6,40 eur, journey time 70 minutes
