If you will be staying on Anguilla for more than 1 day, it is definitely worth renting a car. There's no other way to get around the island than by car or taxi anyway.

Weekly rental rates start at 380 usd when booked at least 3 months in advance. The car rental branches in Anguilla are small, so we recommend booking well in advance. In the high season it often happens that car rental agencies are completely sold out for weeks in advance.

Taxi
Mobile apps like Lyft, Uber or Bolt don't work in Anguilla.
There's a taxi rank outside the arrivals hall. First you need to book a ride from the dispatcher, who sits at a table just outside the arrivals hall exit.
The dispatcher will arrange a car and tell you the price you will pay. Prices are fixed and are not negotiable.
To the major resorts on the island, always pay between 20 usd and 25 usd and pay in cash only.
