Transfer between flights

With its small size and modern, clean terminal, Amman Airport is one of the most convenient transfer points in the Middle East.

The transfer is very well signposted and organised.

Once you get off the plane, follow the "Transit" signs that will take you to the security checkpoint, after which you will walk straight to the departure gates. Overall, it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to make a clear journey between planes.

Do I need a visa for my transfer?

You do not go through Immigration and Customs during your transfer, so you do not need to arrange a Jordanian visa when you transfer.

If you have a longer layover but will not be in Jordan for more than 24 hours, you will not pay any transit visa fee.
