Hawaiian Airlines allows you to check in at the airport without a fee.

Check-in counters normally open 3 hours prior to departure and close 60 minutes prior to departure, or 30 minutes prior to departure for inter-island flights within Hawaii.

Departure gates typically close 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Online check-in

You can check in online 24 hours before departure as standard.

Check in online at checkin.hawaiianairlines.com or via the Hawaiian mobile app.

If you are unable to check in online, you can check in at the airport without any problems.

Seat selection (seating)

Selecting a specific seat is free on short flights between the Hawaiian Islands.

On long-haul flights to Asia, you can choose any aisle or middle seat for free, while window seats are charged at 24 usd.

On flights to the mainland US, you can choose a cheap fare "Basic" without a specific seat selection, and there is no charge either.

On the "Main" fare, you can choose a specific seat from 25 usd to 55 usd, or from 108 usd for a seat with more legroom.
