Check-in at the airport counter is free, but Cebu Pacific is trying to get passengers to check in online and usually only a few counters are open, so there are long lines.

Check-in at the airport

Check-in at the counter is free of any added fee for Cebu Pacific Air.

Counter opening and closing times are as follows:

• Domestic flights - 120 to 30 minutes before departure
• International flights - 150 to 45 minutes prior to departure

If you're not travelling with checked baggage, most airports in the Philippines also have self-service kiosks where you can print your own boarding pass.

Online check-in

You can check in online and print your boarding pass at home.

Online check-in works from 48 hours to 4 hours before departure.

Mobile check-in is the most used method. Online check-in is only available through the Cebu Pacific mobile app (Google Play / App Store), where you enter your reservation number and present a QR code on your mobile at the airport.

Just print out your boarding pass if you have luggage, and drop it off at the airport at the "Drop-off" express counter.

Choice of seat (seating)

If you have a ticket on the lowest GO Basic fare, you can choose a specific seat on the plane for a fee ranging from approx. 300 php on short flights to 800 php on the longest flights.

If you do not choose a seat, you will be randomly assigned one for free.

When travelling with children you will be seated together even if randomly assigned.

Seat selection on all other fares is free.
