Azerbaijan Airlines in a nutshell
Azerbaijan's only airline is based at Baku Airport, from where it operates most of its routes. The airline is also known as AZAL.
The airline has a very modern and young fleet consisting of Airbus A319, A320, Boeing 787s as well as smaller Embraer 190 aircraft.
The aircraft have a beautiful dark blue livery with white and azure highlights.

AZAL is now introducing a free stopover in Baku
If you’re flying with AZAL and have a layover in Baku lasting between 8 and 24 hours, you can get a free hotel stay. Here are the main terms and conditions in a nutshell:
The offer applies to both one-way and return tickets purchased through travel agents.
The service can only be used once per journey (either on the outbound or return leg).
In Economy Class, you’ll be accommodated in a 4* hotel; in Business Class, a 5* hotel.
You must request the hotel at least 3 working days before departure.

Have you checked whether this is actually useful on certain routes from Prague?
Yes, and I haven’t found anything useful so far. Most of the connections involve a 3–6-hour stopover.
You still need to sort out a visa, though. Even so, good hotels in Baku are available for just a few crowns.
