Departure gates typically close 15 minutes prior to departure time.

Online check-in

You can check in online 24 hours before departure as standard.

You can check in online at alaskaair.com or via the Alaska mobile app.

If you can't check in online, you can check in at the airport without any problems.

Seat selection (seating)

You cannot select a specific seat with a "Saver" fare, even for a fee. You will always be assigned a random seat free of charge.

On the "Main" fare, you can choose a seat free of charge at the rear of the aircraft.
