Before you travel

January and February are the so-called ‘green season’, i.e. the rainy season.

During this period, the weather is unpredictable, but most safari parks remain open.

The countryside is green, and it is easier to spot migratory birds, zebras and young animals.

Accommodation and car hire prices are also significantly lower.
